HTC phones are to be banned from the US forever; if Apple wins in court

Not something you want to read right? As much as you hate it, as of right now, it could very well happen. While Apple is busy fighting Samsung, Apple is also on it's heels fighting HTC as well. Remember, it was HTC's first multi-touch device that made the fruit company mad.

Apple has taken HTC to so many courtrooms it's insane. But there is one happening right now, and it's about to kill HTC in the US forever.

    Bloomberg:
“The International Trade Commission is set to rule Dec. 6 in a patent complaint lodged by Apple against rival smartphone maker HTC Corp. (2498). The decision would mark the first final verdict from any judicial entity in Apple’s global patent war against HTC and fellow Android-phone makers Samsung Electronics Co. (005930) and Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc.”
Whoa. If ITC rules in favor of Apple, and HTC did in fact infringe on the fruit companies patents, there will be a country-wide ban on several of HTC's products. If the court does rule in favor of HTC, the company would have a serious advantage against Apple, especially in future lawsuits.

We are looking at you ITC, please make a smart choice.

I really believe that HTC will be here even if the Rotten wins. From what was stated that would mean HTC a company with over 12,943 employees would vanish? In this economy where jobs are hard to come by? They make close to 2 billion annually, what do you think the taxes lost would be, I'd say a lot.. I have some HTC info listed below from Wikipedia

This isn't getting rid of the company, just the ability for them to be able to sell in the US.

Exactly, meaning 0 jobs for US citizens, there is a HTC plant about 15 miles from my house. If they aren't selling in the US they don't need the US plants/call centers = job loss

Know what I mean? The government decides what is best for the government, if it were a loss of tax income to them I think they would rule in favor of HTC.

IDK I dislike HTC, but not as much as a I hate Apple
