    The Multimedia Station

This is basically a dock that allows your phone to display photos and movies, play and music and do all other various things.

It can also work as an alarm clock while charging your phone. Has anyone gotten this?

I haven't. I told myself that I would not get anything like that until Netflix makes an app or something so I can watch movies on it. Once that happens I will get a multimedia dock.

I think I've seen one of those in the store, but I haven't gotten one for myself or really tried it out. How useful is it?

I had the OEM desk dock for my Nexus One and I really never used it. It was actually pretty cool but I just never found a great time to use it. The one cool thing is you could hook up an aux cable to it and play music through bluetooth through most any stereo that has an aux in input. The big downside is it slow charges like it through a USB port.

I picked up the "HD Dock" for my Photon and love it. I can play music, movies, and pic in High Def on a bigscreen or I can also use the Webtop and surf a special version of Firefox just thru my phone just as if I were on the computer doing it. So far so good! No complaints and can't wait to use it more!

Don't see a need for docks on phones. It is nice to have a stand for a tablet though, for netflix.
