Is there any Reason At All to Buy A Kindle Fire Anymore!?

Now that the Nexus 7 is out with specs that tower over the Kindle Fire at the same price, is there any reason whatsoever to buy a Kindle Fire? Is Amazon doing any sort of promotions at all to keep people loyal to their Kindle Fire. It seems like Amazon may have just been blindsided or something in this market. Google's Nexus 7 is better than the Kindle Fire in almost every aspect make the choice stupid easy!

The Kindle fire is now just for people that don't know any better. And there probably a lot of them.

Kindle Fire came out last year and did well. Like all devices, it has run its course. Nexus 7 is a game changer and has upped the ante for 7" devices.

HTC Amaze 4G • Dark Glass ONE 0.2 ROM
TOSHIBA Thrive • Pio's Team Baked BlackBean 4.1.2 ROM
    HTC EVO 4G • Deck's Reloaded .500 ROM
Samsung Galaxy Nexus • Maguro 4.2.1 Stock ROM
B&N Nook Color • Paranoid Android 4.1.2 ROM
Samsung Galaxy Prevail • Half Assed ROM
    EVO Shift• Jelly Belly ROM

I won't say it's for people that don't know any better. There will still be people that will simply choose the Kindle Fire 2 over the Nexus because they have no desire to do more than the various things that it will do. People chose in great numbers, the Fire over the Nook and I would think that is the wrong choice, but if easy, simple and intuitive is your thing, I think you can find that on a Fire. It just wouldn't be my choice.

It was an easy decision for me.. but I agree, the ones that sell will mostly be ones who didnt know about the nexus 7

Analysts have cut their forecast by 2 million. But, that may be based more on the Kindle Fire, not the Kindle Fire 2. Either way, the Nexus was the cause of the effect.

Cowen analyst Kevin Kopelman has cut his forecast on sales of the Kindle Fire from 14 million down to 12 million in 2012 and says that overall Kindle growth expectations were unrealistic.

I was going to buy a kindle fire but now the Google Nexus 7 is out, as soon as I've saved up some pennies, I'm ordering it.

The specs are amazing for the price, and it looks awesome too. Can't wait to order it!

there's no more reason practically in buying the kindle fire when you have the nexus 7, which when compared with specs and performance will definitely outperform that device. The price likewise is very competitive enough to make you choose a nexus 7 rather a kindle fire device. what features are there that will outperform the nexus 7 while the nexus 7 ha enough features to even dominate other leading tablets. just check this list of its features/capabilities The Killing of Features of Google Nexus Tablet | Techyv.com

The Kindle Fire is a great device.. but the Nexus 7 completely over pass it in capacity and features. I mean if you already have the Kindle Fire.. stay there.. it really does the trick and you'll get pretty much everything that you need.

But if you are planing on getting something new.. The Nexus 7 is your best choice. You can actually compare them at any site and you'll see I'm right.
