Thread: How to Root the LG Spectrum

The Spectrum has been rooted, by none other than Dan Rosenberg. Follow the steps below on how to root the Spectrum.

Downloads:

• Spectrum_Root_Windows.zip or Spectrum_Root_Linux_OSX.zip
• LG USB Drivers (Windows Only)

Root Instructions:

1. Connect your Spectrum to your computer via USB, enable USB Debugging.
2. Install the LG USB Drivers. (Windows Only)
3. Unzip the Spectrum root package.
4. Execute "run.bat" or "run.sh" from a terminal (on Linux/OSX).
