Thread: Verizon 4G LTE Midwest Coverage

I'm in South Bend, Indiana (46545 are code). According to all maps and sources I am in one of the densest areas of 4G coverage that Verizon provides, yet I get the spottiest coverage possible. Most of the time not even being able to connect at all, much less 3G coverage.

Is anyone else experiencing heavy data coverage "spottiness"?

I was having a lot of problems with my Droid Bionic losing data completely, I'm in NE Ohio here. Some people were speculating that it had something to do with when the phone jumps from 3g to 4g, that it wasn't authenticating. I finally found someone who suggested taking out the SIM card and placing it back in, and I tried it a few weeks ago - so far it looks like it worked. You might want to give that a shot too.
